While down on Coruscant, Padmé Amidala, Chancellor Palpatine, C-3PO and R2-D2 hope nothing but good for our heroes. Will the Republic emerge triumphant? Will Dooku and his separatists be brought to their knees? And will Anakin truly bring balance to the Force, or will he bring absolutely tyranny?

Tartakovsky had great success with Samurai Jack, and, much to my absolute disappointment, success with Dexter's Laboratory. But this… This… I don't even know what to call it. There is no word that describes how absolutely awful it is.<br/><br/>There are times when television programs make me want to cry, puke and throw my television through the window at the same time. This is one of them.
The Clone Wars animated series is simply amazing. It's got everything that the new and old trilogies were missing: ACTION! The pacing in this series when watcheda 1 hour piece is better than any of the Star Wars movies George Lucas has ever done. Lucas should take note from this series and keep the dialogue to a minimum, and add more lightsaber battles and clone war scenes! Star Wars is big dumb fun, and shouldn't try to do more than that. The lightsaber battles are on par with the final 2 battles in Episode II and the new characters of that female Sith Lord and General Grievous were stunning. I found the animation approach very unique. The blend of computer animation and hand drawn cell animation. . .like anime mixed with old school Saturday morning cartoon styles. The build-up to Episode III was effective, which is essentially why this series exists. Definitely the most watchable Star Wars I've seen YET.

(Prior to the change in designation, the particular work was "continuity canon" which was regardedless canon than the Lucasfilm-made, live-action, ordinal Star Wars films but canon nonetheless.) However, the series has not been retconned, so there hasn't been a change in continuity with other Lucasfilm "Star Wars" works, whether canon or "Legends".
